RAY WARNER – HEAD OF SPONSORSHIP

Ray’s background includes being a TV Producer and Executive Editor at ITV Sport, he was Head of Development at Granada Sport before managing commercial rights for sports stars and broadcasters. Ray also works closely with Formula One Management in TV and Digital. Ray informs us that travelling the world to work on F1 is all work and no play. For some reason we struggle to believe him!


ROBERT THACKERY – STRATEGIC PLANNING

Since graduating from Cambridge, Robert has worked continuously in marketing & associated services for some 30 years. Initially in a client capacity at Heinz before moving into advertising with senior positions in top ten agencies including DMB&B, BMP, Publicis & FCB. Robert was a board director at both Publicis & FCB before moving onto establishing a reputation for strategic input into new emerging genre of integrated agencies. His experience and considerable success spans a wide spectrum of marketing services with an impressive range of major blue chip companies with particular extensive experience of the travel, health & personal care, automotive, retail and financial services sectors.

Bill Jones – Non-Executive Chairman

Commonly known as Mr Bill in the media world, Bill has over 40 years’ experience working for a number of advertising agencies and media specialist companies.  Posts he has held in the past include Media Director of Grey Worldwide and co-founder and Deputy Chairman of MediaCom. Away from work Bill has built up a successful antiques business and can often be spotted on programmes such as Bargain Hunt where he uses his media negotiating skills to take advantage of innocent buyers and sellers!


ADAM YATES – Managing DIRECTOR

Adam worked for 3 years in the media department at Leo Burnett before joining AMS that was then one of the first media specialist companies in the UK. In 1993 Adam set up the London office for Active international that was at the time the only company to offer businesses the opportunity to convert their surplus goods or services into media advertising.  Over the years Adam has converted tens of millions of goods into media and even claims he can even turn water into wine. Does he mean wine into water?


Yvon Nolle – Business Development

After leaving London University with an MA in History Yvon started his Media Career on that suitably historic 80s icon of print Today Newspaper. From the UK’s first colour newspaper he then moved to the extremely colourful and influential News International and spent the next 15 years working across Murdoch print brands from The Sun and News of the World to The Times and Sunday Times. He established the extremely successful Retail Client Sales Team at News International offering retail clients bespoke access to News brands before moving to tabloid rivals Trinity Mirror as Client Sales Director. In his 25 years in Media Yvon has worked for some the UK’s largest Media Owners and brings this welcome expertise to Gusto Clients.​
